What dealer verification covers
- We confirm the dealership is a real, registered business at the address it gives us.
- We check the dealer license number it provides against the state it operates in.
- We verify the named contact works at that dealership before anyone can bid.
- Every application is reviewed by a person and approved, held, or declined.
Verification is a check on the dealership, not on any vehicle. It is not an inspection, an appraisal, a credit decision, or a guarantee of anything a dealership tells you. Always confirm the vehicle and the paperwork yourself before you sign.
What “out-the-door” means
Out-the-door (OTD) is one number: vehicle price + documented dealer fees + taxes + title/registration, with listed incentives already applied. It is not a monthly payment and not a “starting at” price. The number you accept should be the number on the paperwork.
If you accept a bid
- Your contact details go to that one dealership only.
- You finish the paperwork directly with them. We do not deliver the vehicle for you.
- Confirm the exact vehicle, VIN, and options before you sign.
- If a dealership does not honor its accepted offer, report it to us from My Deals.
If no bids come in
- Some ZIP codes have few or no participating dealerships yet.
- You can leave the request up for the full window, renew it, or close it.
- You owe nothing either way.
- We will email you if coverage in your area improves.
